i like making lists
i like making lists of things that i like
i like making fun of the kind of person who picks the most obscure tidbit about themselves
to plaster on their interests in hopes of looking interesting or different
i like making fun of myself
i am that kind of person
we're all that kind of person
i think.

so here is a list of things to put on my hypothetical obscure interests section:

1. i keep a dead rose in a jones soda bottle on my nightstand. its growing mold.

2. every sunday my brother cooks scrambled eggs. i don't care for scrambled eggs but i've eaten them for so long that its just become habitual.

3. i try to like hummus but it never works.

4. i like asian cuisine, especially unagi sushi rolls and coconut rice.

5. i like to eat with small silverwear, especially baroque baby spoons.

6. i can never mention or hear the word baroque without saying, "if its not baroque, dont fix it."

i'm tired now.

i love how every group has their own standard of humor

irish accents. "my life." just talking about how ridiculous school is. historical allusions. puns. acidic sarcasm. bad television. pop culture references. racial jokes. citing others' mistakes. the ever-charming mention of poop.

and how you can make anyone laugh if you notice the little things like that.
